The History of Candor's 4th of July
Presentation by the Candor Historical Society, 7 PM, Town Hall. Come hear how the event has changed in the past 153 years. See lots of slides of past events.
Friday, July 3
Candor Yacht Club Fireman's Cardboard Boat Regatta 10 am
Grab some friends and build a cardboard boat for a trip from behind the Legion to Double Down! Fun for all! Contact Steve Baker at 607-220-9233 or [email protected] for more information. Registration at 10 am, staggered start at Noon, finish at Double Down, Awards at 2 pm.
Kiddie Parade 6:30 pm
The Kiddie Parade will gather at the Ambulance Garage and parade to the softball field. The theme is Happy Birthday, America. Contact Alicha Hatch 607-768-2042 or [email protected]
American Legion Auxiliary Concessions 6 pm 'til close
Serving sausage w. peppers/onion, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, hotdogs, sodas, and water
After Market Band - 7:30-9:30 pm
After Market will entertain before the fireworks on the Town Baseball Field from 7:30-9:30

Parade at 10 am from Church St. to the Village Ball Field

Patriotic Concert by Candor Community Chorus, Candor High School Auditorium, 7 pm

Horse Pull at Side Hill Acres Goat Farm, Spencer Rd.
Gates open at 8 am. Pull starts at 1 pm. Admission Fee $10. Under 12 $5.
